IMG-Interactive.com is a web application designed specially for
International Medical Graduates (IMG) to assist them in finding the Medical
Residency Programs whose requirements are fulfill by the applicant and are
likely to review their applications and extend interviews. By using this site
you will save time, money, keep you organized, have easy direct access to other
sites related to the residency program.
We are in the process to update the database with the 2011 information. All subscription after January 1, 2010 will be good till the end of March 2011.
The 2010 U.S. medical residencies information for IMGs was the most completed and up to date. Thank you for your encouragement and nice emails we received from you.

The purpose of the application is to create and maintain your list of residency programs to apply
for and that is My List.
In the Search page you can easily identify programs you may qualify according with your
credentials. The programs information is colored according with your credential: Green- You Qualify; Yellow - You May Qualify (old optimistic search) Blue - Program already in your list.
Step 1: Go to Search and select the specialty you are register and the State you are
interested in and click Go.
Step 2: By clicking the ID you will open a new windows with the program information. You can add the program to your list add comments and assign a Status information.

Statistics Family Medicine - IMG friendly, H1, J1, Score < 80, <85, <90, first attempt, No USCE
The Family Medicine database contains information for 459 programs. By our research 297 programs currently have IMGs (*) in their program. From this 297 programs: 56 accept H1 visa and 140 accepts J1 visa, 42 require first attempt on each the USMLE Steps, 130 have no year of graduation requirement and 150 have no US clinical experience requirement 214 have no score requirement (**) or score less then 80, 290 have scores requirement less than 85 and 297 have scores requirement less than 90.
Note: *Some programs have only 1 or 2 IMGs
**Many university programs do not have a score requirement but are very competitive.

Statistics Internal Medicine - IMG friendly, H1, J1, Score < 80, <85, <90, first attempt, No USCE
The Internal Medicine database contains information for 386 programs. By our research 309 programs currently have IMGs (*) in their program. From this 309 programs: 132 accept H1 visa and 240 accepts J1 visa, 99 require first attempt on each the USMLE Steps, 158 have no year of graduation requirement and 204 have no US clinical experience requirement 198 have no score requirement (**) or score less then 80, 295 have scores requirement less than 85 and 304 have scores requirement less than 90.

Statistics Pediatrics - IMG friendly, H1, J1, Score < 80, <85, <90, first attempt, No USCE
The Pediatrics database contains information for 203 programs. By our research 127 programs currently have IMGs (*) in their program. From this 127 programs: 42 accept H1 visa and 109 accepts J1 visa, 18 require first attempt on each the USMLE Steps, 80 have no year of graduation requirement and 89 have no US clinical experience requirement, 68 have no score requirement (**) or score less then 80, 99 have scores requirement less than 85 and 121 have scores requirement less than 90.

IMG Residency Survey
The reason for this survey was to make a correlation between the applicant credentials and the residency programs an applicant got an interview, and/or a pre-match. Many IMGs are applying to many residency programs where statistically their chances to match there is very low. We hope the result from this survey will make us better understand this process and finally will reduce the time and money spend by an applicant.
